Windy Hill Farm Nursery is a small custom propagation wholesale nursery and demonstration garden located at 13735 NW Westside Road between the towns of Yamhill and Carlton in rural Yamhill County, Oregon. We do custom propagation for both retail and wholesale customers from the hundreds of varieties of plants we have in the garden: perennials, shrubs, trees, vines, grasses and groundcovers. Most of our plants are unusual or uncommonly found - a few are downright rare - while some are garden stalwarts.

We are on an exposed site with high winds and greater temperature variation than the surrounding locale, making us a great test site for plant hardiness and viability. The bulk of our plants are hardy through USDA Zone 7 and many are much hardier. A few may perform best in Zone 8. We have Open Gardens, so that you can see these unusual plants in all stages of their development.

Our downloadable Plant List specifies which of the many hundreds of plants in the garden are available for propagation this year. We custom propagate for both individuals and retailers. Plants from single unit propagation are available at retail prices and plants propagated in groups of 20 or more are at wholesale prices.

Our Schedule indicates our Open Garden times this year. Because our primary focus is custom propagation and wholesale, the nursery will only be open for retail sales on these dates or by appointment. Don't be shy! You are welcome to make an appointment for any time we can mutually agree to - and we typically have lots of plants for sale! Go to Directions for directions to our nursery. Our Policy:
Our policy is to provide you with the healthy plants you want, grown in a sustainable manner. We will make every attempt to work with you. This is where our "smallness" is a benefit: we can custom propagate plants for your specific need, whether retail or wholesale. This may require substantial lead time for successful propagation, especially for some unusual plants.
